General Assembler

Centerville food company has immediate openings for entry level General Assemblers for their assembly line. 1st & 2nd shift available. Great opportunity!

The General Assembler would be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensuring the quality of the products
• Inspect if codes are correct as posted
• Inspect design of packaging materials are correct as posted
• Report any deviations from posted standards to supervisor
• Remove defective or misaligned products and replace with standard product
• Maintaining sanitary condition of the production area
• Follow all safety rules in effect

The General Assembler requirements are as follows:

• Must have the ability to communicate with others on the production lines
• Must have the ability to add and subtract
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out written or oral instruction
• Must have the ability to stand/walk 10 hours on concrete
• Must have the ability to carry/lift up to 40 lbs
• Must have the ability to bend, twist, balance, stoop, reach & climb
