Equipment Support Specialist (3D Printing Technician)

DesignPoint Solutions (www.design-point.com) is a World Class reseller of 3D Systems & MarkForged 3D printing technology. Our business is growing, and therefore, we have an immediate need to hire an Equipment Support Specialist to work on our customer’s 3D Printers. You will work in our Lancaster, PA or Clark, NJ office and must be available for local travel.

SOME OF THE COOL THINGS YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE:
• Installing high tech 3D Printers and educating customers on how to use our 3D Printers
• Providing technical input to future sales activities
• Maintaining and repairing established 3D Printers
• Developing your professional skills with our excellent onboarding and training programs

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION
• A strong desire to have a career working on 3D printers
• Associate’s degree in electronics, OR equivalent experience in machine repair & maintenance (required)
• Experience working in the HVAC, furnace and/or AC industry as a field installer/technician (a plus)
• Familiarity with basic field measurement instrumentation such as voltmeters
• Knowledge of computer electronics (a plus)
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
• A great work ethic, hard-working, detail-oriented, positive, and reliable with a “can do” attitude

• Willingness to travel to customer sites the majority of the work week (office is in Lancaster)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (we will reimburse you for all business travel)
