This job entails:
• Operate specialized equipment/vehicles with gross weight of 32,001 pounds or more
• Operate pick-up trucks, small and large dump trucks, front end loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, excavators, tract and/or wheeled front-end loader and/or fork-lift in conjunction with operational requirements
• Plow snow with large dump trucks and front-end tractors on roadway and parking lots during winter months
• Cut large areas of grass using large tractors with gang-type mowers
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance work on equipment; clean and/or service equipment
• Must submit to and pass random but mandatory drug/alcohol testing

Work Schedule:
7:00AM – 3:00PM
Monday – Friday
Lunch Period: 30 Minutes

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; Or

Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; Or

Any equivalent combination of experience or training.

Additional Requirements:

Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
