Essential:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant technical experience.
Demonstrated proficiency within the Microsoft 365 Platform:
Administrative experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online and related services.
Administrative experience with Azure AD, Active Directory, Azure AD Sync and related technologies.
Understanding of M365 security and compliance mechanisms
Understanding of and experience configuring Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) technology in Microsoft Azure, Okta, or other similar enterprise platform.
Understanding of and experience with Azure services including DNS, Traffic Manager, Application Proxy, and Application deployment.
Understanding of broad scope of M365 services and how they interact.
Demonstrated proficiency with PowerShell
Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Flows, Automation)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office product family
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
Commitment to peace and Christian faith.
Fluency in English
Travel required: 5%

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
Microsoft M365 certification
Project management skills and experience
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
Experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Autopilot
Experience in implementation of workflows on No or Low Code Platforms
Other scripting experience (Examples include Bash, Python, Visual Basic, etc.)
Linux server administration and monitoring
Proficiency in French or Spanish

Specific Tasks and Duties:
– Responsible to administer, build, and maintain enterprise IT systems, in coordination with consultants, vendors and other staff (as applicable). This includes active involvement and leadership in the project
lifecycle from discovery, detailed design, configuration, testing, and implementation of new systems and features. This position serves as the primary contact for external contractors and vendors of these systems
o Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security, and compliance.
o Microsoft Azure services including DNS, Traffic Manager, Application Proxy, and Application deployment.
o Email security and other security platforms (such as Microsoft Defender and Sentinel)
o Application integrations via API and scripting
o Identity management & self-service portal (Okta, Azure, Microsoft Identity Manager), and single sign-on.
o Other enterprise systems as applicable.
– Provide tier-2 support to End User Technology Manager for Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and other endpoint management tools. Primary contact for vendors if external troubleshooting is required.
– Respond to user support requests as needed and assist other support technicians as tier-2 support for complex technical issues and troubleshooting.
– Create and maintain documentation and training such as
o Documentation and process guides for how to complete recurring tasks
o Documentation of actions taken related to routine or emergency tasks.
o Documentation and training about best practices and security protocols related to using the systems named above.
o Training for Tier-1 Support Technicians on common troubleshooting related to the systems named above
o In collaboration with the Instructional Technologist, ensure adequate training for staff of MCC on the systems names above and new features.
– Proactively monitor systems to detect and resolve security incidents, service degradation and/or failures
– Perform preventative maintenance tasks
– Ensure MCC is following recommended security protocols and best practices as recommended by vendors and MCC IT security policies and procedures.
– Other duties as assigned

Contact/Relationships:
This position requires frequent contact with other IT staff, occasional contact with all levels of MCC personnel around the world, and regular interaction with external contractors and vendors. The duties for this position may require the incumbent to encounter confidential information, and therefore they must be able to uphold standards of privacy and confidentiality.
Supervision: No direct supervision.
Travel expectations: Travel required: 5%
Complexity/Competencies:
The duties for this position require creativity, innovation and resourcefulness. This position is responsible to manage complex enterprise systems that impact all of MCC, and therefore must have broad technical knowledge with careful attention to change management. The incumbent is involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, including initial requirements discovery, detailed design, configuration and testing. This position will lead assigned projects, including implementation of new features. It requires an individual with excellent communication and consensus building skills, able to interact with staff at all levels and across all disciplines. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, training, or to visit other MCC locations.

Independent Action:
This position manages enterprise systems and projects while also participating in the wider IT Infrastructure team, and works closely with IT leadership. They must work independently and be a strong team player. The incumbent will create IT policies and standards for the administration, usage and security of MCC’s enterprise IT systems that will impact IT staff and all of MCC (as applicable). They will work with IT leadership to ensure these policies and standards are followed. They will also create documentation of actions taken and processes required to complete recurring and emergency tasks. The incumbent must be able to work under their own initiative and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and requests. Job duties are highly technical and task oriented, requiring discretion and judgment in determining the most appropriate solution.

Salary Minimum $57,353.00
