EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic is responsible for responding to all guest and employee medical incidents on property. This position is also tasked with providing timely and accurate assessments and care of all patients while on property. This position also works hand and hand with other park EMTs and the Dutch Wonderland Security Department.
We are currently looking for a:
Prepare equipment and necessary medical supplies for daily use
Perform constant assessment for all patients while in park EMS care and administer additional care if needed
Respond to guest and employee medical incidents throughout the Dutch Wonderland Complex including the Old Millstream Campground and Cartoon Network Hotel
Conduct a scene analysis, control, and safety on all medical calls
Provide treatment within the scope of PA EMT-B field and practice
Safely and efficiently remove patients from the scene and transport to first aid stations for treatment via foot or park vehicle
Clean up post incident and inform security of any supply needs
Prepare workers compensation documentation and assist in follow-up investigations for all employee injury incidents
Assist in submitting guest and employee incident reports to corporate through the incident software
Current PA Dept. of Health EMT Certification or Paramedic certification, current CPR and AED certification.
