Diesel Shop Mechanic

Full-time Position, Available on: 2023-10-16

The in-house diesel mechanic has a working knowledge of heavy truck mechanics and in turn, has the unique ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair emergency vehicles. The nature of the work requires an emphasis on safe work practices, sustained physical effort, troubleshooting, problem solving, attention to detail, customer service and time management.
Essential repair maintenance functions: chassis component repair and maintenance, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems, engine repair and maintenance, suspension, drivetrain and steering systems, and heating and air conditioning.
M-F 7:30am-4:00pm, when eligible up to 2 weeks paid vacation, 8 paid holidays, 40 hours paid sick time, free medical/dental/vision options availalbe, and 401k with company match.
