What You’ll Do:

As a Cafe Worker, you will carry out our Mission of Love by ensuring the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner by maintaining the appropriate competencies and skills through continuing education that encompasses all of these areas. This will include assisting our residents in reaching or attaining the highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Our Cafe Worker is responsible for the following:

Prepare and present the menu items in an eye appealing and sanitary manner.
Serves meals to customers in professional and courteous manner while focusing on the 9 Elements of an excellent dining service.
Operate cash register and close out register and reconcile transactions after each shift.
Maintains sanitation of Franklin’s Press serving and dining areas including wiping of tables and chairs during and at end of scheduled shift.
Perform all duties required to include cleaning and breaking down coffee station, cleaning and locking of food display, beverage equipment, storage of food, documentation of temperatures and preparation order and disposal of trash.
Stock all food item needs for next shift.
Prepares coffee station, cold food display items order slip for next day.
Communicates with Grand Lodge Hall Chef pertaining to baking and food item needs.
What You Have:

Middle school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Will provide on-the-job training
Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
Cash handling and POS experience preferred.
