Bistro Cook

We currently have an attractive opportunity available for a Full-Time Bistro Cook on our Residential Living Dining Team. If you have a passion for food, both quality and presentation, and hospitality experience, We want to hear from you.

Current Opportunity:

Full-Time Day Shift – Monday through Friday and every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Follow recipes, menu notes and production sheets accurately to prepare the correct amount of each item daily.
Present food using proper plating techniques.
Assist other cooks with prep and special functions
Work with manager and director to create a rotation of enticing bakery items for weekly specials.
Document finished cooking temperatures and serving temperatures before meals leave the kitchen
Properly clean and sanitize work stations and tables
Work in a team-oriented environment and under fast-paced conditions

High School Diploma or GED equivalent, culinary training a PLUS
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospitality environment required
Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Time management and attention to detail a MUST.
Serv-Safe Certification a plus, or willingness to get certification.
Experience training new staff is a PLUS
