We are BEYOND excited to see students in our hallways and classrooms again!  All educators know that there is a different feel to a school during summer break when the students are at home.  It has been a long five+ months since we’ve felt the refreshing atmosphere of a school brimming with life.

Like every year, the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center ramps up to full capacity throughout the first week as the sending school districts begin their own school years on different days.  Today, we are welcoming students from about 2/3 of our sending districts including Cocalico, Columbia, Conestoga Valley, Donegal, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, Hempfield, School District of Lancaster, Manheim Central, Manheim Township, Penn Manor, Warwick, and juniors from Pequea Valley.

The start of school this morning seemed to flow smoothly with students finding their way to classrooms and instructors and staff helping them along, masks in place for everyone.  Some of the first instruction that all students will receive are health and safety routines for the classrooms and reviewing best practices for social distancing and safety protocols.
