UPDATE – April 16 – The Lancaster County Career & Technology Center has distributed the second round of the current Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) Grant funds. In this first distribution of funds, 166 Adult Education students received an average of $1,260 in federal grant funds. These distributions are needs-based so students can receive anywhere from $500 to $1,500 based upon their household income, household size, and additional needs as noted.
Funds are still available so students in eligible programs are highly encouraged to apply. Please click on the link below to go to the online application form.
The terms of the grant restrict funding to ADULT STUDENTS ONLY in Title IV-eligible programs including Advanced Welding, Automotive Technology, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Early Childhood Education, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, Plumbing, Practical Nursing, Precision Machining, Veterinary Technician, and Welding Technology.
