LCCTC Automotive Senior Kaden Riehl accepts the B.A.T. MAN Scholarship from motorcyclist Steve Johnson.

On Thursday, May 11, Lancaster CTC’s Willow Street high school automotive students attended a presentation and awards ceremony and welcomed several special guests to campus! Representatives from Faulkner Automotive, The ASE Education Foundation, and Snap-on were on-hand for the event, where NHRA Pro Stock Motorcyclist Steve Johnson presented before awarding Manheim Township Senior, Kaden Reihl with the B.A.T MAN (Be a Technician) Scholarship. The scholarship prize included a $1,000 check to be used towards any Snap-on brand tools of Kaden’s choosing, a brand-new Peak Performance tool chest, and a selection of Peak Performance gear that he can use to further his future career in the automotive industry.

Willow Street automotive faculty Richard White encouraged his students to apply for the B.A.T. MAN Scholarship, which requires applicants to provide answers to multiple essay questions and submit a video. Ahead of his visit to Lancaster, Johnson stated: “We’ve put together a great program for these young people that should help them to think about their careers, their purpose, and what it means to win at life.”

Congratulations to Kaden on this wonderful achievement and step toward future career success!
