To our Students and their Families,
The Lancaster County Career & Technology Center administration and staff are working with colleagues, our sending districts, and the state government each day to coordinate the LCCTC’s reaction to the current public schools’ shutdown.
Currently, our buildings remain closed. All high school classes, programs, activities, and events are on hold for the near future. While some of our adult programs, such as Practical Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Veterinary Technician are shifting to virtual instruction, not all are currently running. Adult Transportation classes are suspended at this time. No Commercial Driver’s License testing is being conducted, and the non-commercial Driver’s License Testing Center is closed. If you have questions about the Adult programming, please contact your respective program administrator.
Our staff and faculty, with very few exceptions, remain at home. We encourage you to do the same as much as you are able.
The current situation is unprecedented and we are extremely proud of our staff, students, and families for rising to meet the challenge. As we receive any updated news from the state or federal government, we will pass along that information as well as our response to it.
Information is key in a crisis and we ask that you look to reputable sources for that news and information. We have compiled a list of sources that we, ourselves, are using to help us make informed decisions. Please see the list with links below.
We hope that you are weathering the current situation well and continue to do so. We will let you know as soon as possible should the state or federal government make any changes to the current status.
We will keep in touch.
