LANCASTER COUNTY CAREER & TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Lancaster, PA – The Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation Board of Directors welcomes its new Executive Director, Jennifer Baker. Baker is now the Foundation’s second Executive Director in the organization’s 15-year history. Anthony Gillespie, the original Executive Director, recently retired after all 15 years with the Foundation and after retiring from his position of 19 years at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (CTC).
Baker has more than 20 years of experience in leading strategic planning initiatives to raise awareness, improve public image, and raise funds for numerous organizations in the area.
“Her experience includes a wide range of abilities that will help to elevate and advance the mission of the Foundation. We are pleased to induct another Executive Director who understands the importance of the Foundation and what it means to so many students at CTC,” Foundation Board President and Vice President of Human Resource Services & EEO Officer at The High Companies, Darryl Gordon, said.
The Foundation provides a source of funding for student financial assistance, so deserving teen and adult students can learn regardless of circumstances. Also, the Foundation gifts innovative equipment and develops innovative programs to fill gaps not funded by traditional CTC revenue sources.
