JOC Updates LCCTC Health and Safety Plan

During its regular meeting on August 26, the Joint Operating Committee of the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center made changes to the LCCTC’s Health and Safety Plan as it applies to a variety of activities, campus facilities, and student conduct at non-CTC venues.

The changes state that while Lancaster County remains in “substantial” or “high” levels of Covid-19 community transmission, as tracked by the Centers for Disease Control, then building tours, field trips, and non-essential visitors to CTC campuses will not be permitted.  Lancaster County is currently in the high transmission category, so those restrictions are now in place.

Additional changes to the Health and Safety Plan require that students and staff who participate in internships, cooperative education experiences, clinical experiences at locations off of CTC grounds must comply with the rules that those locations have established for masking, social distancing, and other policies.
